Cadiz Free Zone Consortium is an entity of Public Right depending on the Ministry of Economy and Finances, in charge of the management and administration of Cadiz Free Zone, whose main goals are:

  • To provide quality services to any kind of enterprise.
  • To promotion activities related specially with the Foreign Trade.
  • To favor the economic growth of our influence area.
  • Cadiz Free Zone can be defined as the great Enterprise and Logistics Park of southern Spain, being excellently qualified to compete with any other center of managerial activities of the Mediterranean frame. It is characterized for being a free trade zone in whose enclosure, goods coming from non EC countries are customs duty free and tax free from the moment of its entry at the EC customs territory.

    As a logistic center, there are specialized services of warehousing, loading - unloading, handling of goods, classification, stocks control, transport, … The permanent security all around the enclosure and its installations, give an important element for the enterprises located here. The Bay area, including the Free Zone, has excellent port installations in which the main maritime lines, both commercial and for passengers, are located. This allows the connection and transport services with the most important business centers in the world.

    As regards Cadiz Free Zone and the foreign trade, they are promoting some agreements with other free zones, port authorities and international entities, with which they are establishing bonds for institutional and managerial collaboration. These agreements are the basis to create a propitious environment for the commercial relations between Cadiz Free Zone and the other entities. Thus, we can find agreements with Free Zones, Port Societies, etc., located in countries such as, Panama, Argentina, United Estates, Colombia, Mexico and Bolivia, making continuously negotiations to increase the number of agreements. With this, we find the Latin American Logistics and Trade Network (RILCO), computer platform, that is unique in the world, and establishes advise to managers via Internet, promoted by Cadiz Free Zone.


    Cadiz Free Zone offers customs and fiscal advantages, such as:

  • Exemption of import duties, for goods in the Free Zone.
  • Exemption of payment of special taxes for goods in the Free Zone.
  • Advance payment of the returns on EC goods exportation under these benefits.
  • Non application of the European community trading policy.
  • The possibility of introducing any goods, regardless of their nature, amount, origin, provenance or destination, with no time limits.
